JOHN JAANI JANARDHAN – MR PICTURES LAUNCHED

With the screening one song on Kannada scored by Arjun Janya as promotional song, the Kannada film ‘John Jaani Janardhan’ a remake of Malayalam film ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ was launched in the presence of bigwigs. It is MR Pictures launch and unveiling of title of the film.

‘John, Jaani Janardhan’ is a combination of Krishna Ajay Rao, Yogish and Madarangi Krishna with Malashri, Gurunandan in prominent roles. Kamanasingh Ranawat is female lead. The banner in which all working made them feel happy.

MR means not Muni Raju. It is me Muththappa Rai. The former don present at the launch of his banner and introduction of team of John Jaani Janardhan stated that his three friends Padmanabha, Shashikiran and Girish are producers of this film. He is happy with the launch of the film in his banner. When I made Tamil film – all connected to it got awards while I lost Rs.2 crores he says. He is convinced with this film subject. He is also sure this Malayalam remake will be a good hit in the box office. Looking at Malashri, MR stated that he has been big fan of her after ‘Nanjundi Kalyana’.

Kannada Pradikara Board chairman L Hanumanthaiah not aware of the remake film dashed against remake culture. It has become inevitable for our makers he pointed.

Sa Ra Govindu one of the chief guests stated that the banner like MR Pictures would give a tough fight to other language films.

Arjun Janya has done a rap song with Kannada alphabets that is with more sound featuring three heroes in the song.

John Jaani Janardhan is the third consecutive remake of director Guru Deshpande. He made Raaja Huli based on Sundara Pandian, Rudra Thandava based on Pandia Nadu and now ‘JJJ’ subject comes from Malayalam AAA. However this film has nothing to do with the super hit Hindi film ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor of yesteryears.
